so i just got the new system update 4.40 and as usual i see no difference in my PS3's performance. why keep getting new updates if they never really make the PS3 perform better?... at least they are free unlike the 360.

personally i still think the PS3 is better. i'm not a Halo fan and for games like LA Noire you need three discs VS one disc for the PS3. for the PS3 you get a wireless rechargeable controller the xbox 360 still needs AA batteries unless you buy the stuff to make it wireless. the xbox 360 controller is a comfortable design. but you need to pay extra for the online access and membership etc. the PS3 is Blu-ray compatible the xbox 360 is not.
i could go on about the pros and cons for both systems. i'm not trying to pick a fight but that's how i feel about the 360. i just wanted to know about the constant updates you need with the PS3.
