... my future with him. His sister became paralyzed after a suicide attempt. Both parents care for her including my bf. I know his parents wont be able to care for her forever. She refuses to try to go out and have a normal life. His parents cater to her 100% worst than a child. I see how difficult it is for his parents. They can't travel or go anywhere together. We are now engaged and planning our wedding :) We had a long talk about our future. I express my concerns and feelings. So far so good, but only the future willl tell. Now, only if the sister had a better attitude would this be easier for me.

Nothing has changed....his sister is still the same bitter person she always has been. She believes the world revolves around her...like we all owe her something. She insists in leaving family gatherings early because everyone is having a great time..even during holidays!!! Im so over it just seeing her makes my stomach turn.

I can see your point, you want to have a life with out the threat of having to take care of his sister the rest of her life should you guys marry. I think you owe it to your self to have the lease stressful life you can assure for yourself. If you decide not to marry him for that reason don't feel bad, good luck.
I see what you mean. But it is unlikely that your child will commit suicide, and you have to be like your bf's parents... Maybe his sister had reasons to kill her self... and you wont have to have children until your ready..If you want to marry your bf but your to scared to have to care for your future kids liek his parents do to his sister, then marry him, but wait to have kids, have fun with your bf, go on vacations, go do things together, then when your ready have a baby. All you need to think about and ask yourself is, will i be happy if i do this?
