My father is very possessive of my daughter. He often makes a point to say "my grandchild" and tries to buy her affections. I have given in to the spoiling, but he will often attempt to make me or my daughter feel bad if we don't return a text or phone call immediately. I have already spoken with him, but truth be told he will never change. He's simply just an anwry old man and does what he wants, when he wants and feels the grandparent should have just as much say in the upbringing of my daughter as I do. I am at a loss. I want him in our lives, but he continues to neglect my rules and guidelines saying that certain things are just done for grandparents. Has anyone else had a situation such as this and how did u deal with it?
