I'm usually never superstitious but after playing pool for a while I believe that stripes is bad luck. I lose more when I get stripes then when I get solids, maybe it's because I prefer solids over stripes but it sure feels like bad luck when I get stripes.
If you play pool do you ever feel like you just get bad luck over solids or stripes?
Nope, as I see it all superstitions are just in your head. I do find I play better after 2 pints but worse after 4 but that's just the beer relaxing me either just enough or a little too much :) My advice would be to spend a few nights trying to play stripes instead of spots, you know depending on the break, and work off the idea before it gets fixed in your head otherwise you'll find your game not improving.
