In 2012, my parents seized my passport and since then they still aren't giving it back to me.
Reason behind it that I wanted to go to the UK to marry my LDR girlfriend who is 18 years older than me.
Its been over two years now and I still haven't got my passport. I tried to get a new one but just couldn't and ended up with a huge financial loss.
Now I have to travel abroad and still my parents aren't giving my passport back to me.
My question is IF I CONTACT THE POLICE THEN IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THEY WOULD HELP ME TO GET MY PASSPORT BACK?
I have phoned to the police helpline number to equire and they are assuring me that if i am an adult then they would help me to get me my passport back from my parents.
PLEASE MUST ANSWER?

As you've already said - "I have phoned to the police helpline number to equire and they are assuring me that if i am an adult then they would help me to get me my passport back from my parents." - If you are a adult they can help, and very eaesily too, if you aren't then you are a minor and your parents have the right to prevent you from travelling internationally (and nationally too within reason).
