Last night my mom was talking to someone on the phone beside my sleeping body so I listened to who it was. It was a guy. My mom and dad have been divorced for 10 years so I can understand why my mom would want to date people. I just don't want her getting hurt again like she did all the other times she dated somebody. I know there is something going on between them. Something romantic. I think it's great that my mom found a guy but she doesn't deserve all the heartbreak that came with the other guys. She hasn't told me or my brother yet and I don't know if I should confront her about what I know or wait until she's ready to tell us. Please help!
P.S. he lives in California and was talking about bringing us there. I live in Pennsylvania. There's no way I'm leaving my friends and going to California just for a relationship that "might" work. I just hope my mom is sensible.
