Hello,
I am currently in a real dilema, i have been working for my current employer for 3 years. It is a small company with only 3 of us there. my boss, the new apprentice and I.
I dont feel that i want to do this job forever and am currently looking to move on to a different sector of work. However i feel like my boss needs me there for the company to function. Im not trying to blow my own trumpet but if i was to hand in my letter of resignation i know my boss would be extremely annoyed and saddened and the business would take a big hit. I have also talked to one of our sub contractors who was told by my manager that he thinks about me taking over the business when he retires. He is a great boss and we all work closely and I just feel too guilty to make the move to leave. I feel like im not allowed to leave as the business needs me.
what should i do?
