Proper amount of light. For a seed to germinate it doesn't need light. The seed is underground in the dark . light is needed after germination for photosynthesis. Proper amount of temperature is for warmth. Remember the seeds have in them enzymes that need optimum temperature in order to work. They work in liquid medium that is moisture. Oxygen is needed because the seeds are alive. there is need for respiration by all living things. In this case light is the odd man out.
