If you went to the doctor and they did not offer treatments after seeing low hormone levels, its very likely the low levels were not low enough to cause concern. Pregnant women often have spotty bleeding during the first trimester, it's fairly common and is not a sign of anything wrong. She should wear a pad (not a tampon) to track how much bleeding is occurring and avoid putting anything into her vagina until a week or so after it has cleared up. If you are still worried, ask to speak with a doctor, make sure they know of the pregnancy and hormone levels, and ask them if they recommend anything. They'll likely try to avoid any hormone replacements as it may upset the pregnancy, but they could know of foods or activities that may help. Don't try home treatments before seeing a doctor, pregnancy is a delicate thing, hormone levels have to be just for proper development of the child, and it could be that the drop is just part of how her body deals with the baby.
