That is just a dum question. "Economic" is an adjective so the sentence is missing a noun to be described as "economic". Education has nearly zero direct effect on economic conditions. There are some effects, but not direct effects.

Greek 'oikonomia' means a household. The English word means management. Since management always involves pinching pennies, the word comes to mean money management and frugality. But the basic meaning is still management, as in the class "Home Economics".

Did you buy something today? Let's suppose you bought a pencil: what color? Did you go to a certain store, or look for a certain brand, or did you just grab one from a bin near the checkout line? Now imagine everybody in a given area making such decisions all day long. The total of all such decision making is called "the economy" of that area, a shorthand way of referring to all management decisions as measured in the local currency. That is what we call "economics".
