Php with myql databae connection?

Question

ive ceate a database in mysql;
and i connect the database in php codig
i ve got a error like this:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in H:\xampp\htdocs\divya\db.php on line 4
Access denied for user 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

Answer

..using user 'ODBC' might have password.. better put some password or just use 'root' as user.. root requires no password
