Are you saying that your period has lasted for 4,5 months? So you mean that you have been losing blood non-stop for 4,5 months? If that is the case you should go to your doctor immediatly! That is not normal, and very unhealthy. Because the blood you are losing is not menstrual blood if it is ongoing! Then there is something wrong with your health. Your period should last to 3-7 days, and occur once in 4 weeks. Did you get the pill on a recipe from your doctor? Because you should get it prescribed from your doctor. If you mean that you do not skip your period that is because you need to lose the menstrual blood. You can only skip your period once, if you keep taking the pill. This is very logical, because your blood keeps building up in your uterus and your body needs to get rid of this blood if you do not get pregnant. Hope this helps.
