People who work in Anesthesia- what are some nice code words you might call a patient? Bad ones?

My mother works in the field and she is known for calling me names like 'toad' or cheddar. When I asked she said it was an affectionate term for a patient. Or the opposite. She said it varies from Doctor to Doctor, so what are some things you would call a person? Example: what would you call them if they were scared? Thank you!
