Hi,
What's a substitute for peanut butter as a snack immediately after training?
Thanks in advance
Hey Jewels,
The 'snack' after training is for recovery. I kind of want something different from peanut butter as you obviously need quite a bit of it to get a good amount of protein.
You should be eating about 0.4 gram of complete protein per pound of body weight every day, counting only 6 grams per egg, 12 grams per glass of milk, and 24 grams per quarter pound of meat. I have not heard of this 'recovery' of which you speak. It takes about two days to digest a meal, so timing is not very important.
Hi Bob,
Cheers for your reply. I kind of want something different from peanut butter as you obviously need quite a bit of it to get a good amount of protein.
