Hi I have a Indian Ringneck Parakeet. He is perfectly healthy, however upon completing his last moult, I have noticed he has not pulled the sheath off on his 2 longest tail feathers. He did the same with just one of them last year, which unfortunately let to it snapping and bleeding. I treated this accordingly and he has been fine ever since. I'm therefore worried about what I should do. I've attempted to gently remove the sheath, however he pecks and screams when I do it so I don't want to continue if he's in pain. If anyone can suggest what else I can do, that would be great
