Paranormal - When I was younger. I was asleep and awoke to lady in a white dress floating above me.

If you were unable to move, it was sleep paralysis.

During sleep paralysis, you're between the stages of awake and asleep. You're mentally awake but your nervous system hasn't "woken up" yet. And so, you're still technically dreaming. Your dream plays out in front of you, making you think it's happening for real.

Though terrifying, it can't hurt you for real.

I don't think it was anything paranormal. Like the other person said, it was likely sleep paralysis.
