I had surgery on Monday they gave me oxycodone I can take every four hours and Percocet I can take every six hours. I've been taking them on the dot because my abdomen where I had the surgery done is rather painful even after take both meds. I wake every hour because of the pain and I have to wait another hour till I can take any more pain meds. Im just not really sure what to do at the moment and my surgeon isn't in the office today and their office isn't open yet And then the bottom of my ribs hurt when I breathe too

Try taking 800mg of ibuprofen with 500-1000mg of tylonal every six hours. It works better for me than opioids and it doesn't make you feel miserable or high. Together they block pain very well. It worked a lot better than I thought it would.
I answered this question before and accidentally gave the wrong dosage for the tylonal, but that post was not approved yet apparently lol.
Feel better!
Isn't that too much ibuprofen at one time?
