It's one thing to say, "Oh it's Ok, it will still work" Which is an answer, I despise. It's another thing altogether, to either own up to the fact, that it won't work, or have the energy to change the language

You need to learn what the words mean. A device does not "deliver" four ohms. A device delivers voltage. Resistance means it will draw current I=E/R. Impedance is similar to resistance, but it depends on frequency. If the amp delivers 1 volt, the speaker will draw 1/4 amp. It is nice if the speaker matches the amplifier, but a mismatch not considered a crucial factor.
