Just had 1st surgery and was given OxyContin, the 1st ever pill other than ibuprofen or motren Ive taken and I've found absolutely no relief from maximum dosage

What's the milligrams your getting? It also depends on what kinda surgery you had done and actually if they took something out or they were fixing a organ or fixing something that went wrong what's the prescription read like one or two every 6 hours or every 8 hours some read every 4 hours but when its all said and done just ask for something different if the OxyContin isn't working if the dr will do that.
I'm getting "5-325mg" and I'm taking 2 every 4hrs. I had a laproscopic surgery on an inguinal hernia
