Hello
I have a 4 month old GSD and he is very obedient and progressing well through the training stages,with one exception. Any time me and my boyfriend bring him out of the house and I have to run into a shop, he cries and moans violently. The same reaction acurs even when we part ways of 5feet. He is fearless outdoors and is trained off lead but the act of seporation from one of us while on lead with the other results in a tantrum. Our dog is very comfortable in his crate and has no problem being left alone but any time we are out the puppy needs to be by both of us at all times.

he might have detachment syndrome which in all also means separation problems hour dog does the same thing but i think it has to do with being left alone i adopted him from the human society and he was a rescue dog and the lady that had him was always gone vacationing left him with 2 bowls of food and two big bowls of water gone a week at a time had him carrald in a laundry room with a doggie door so she finaly put him in the paper to get a good home for him and i walked inside he jumped right in my arms hes been here for 13 years he does very well we don't leave him anywhere so he does well its separation anxiety i have had two leave a couple times but he tore up the house so thats what i deal with he is a bishon poodle hopefully your situation gets better
