Hello, some of my friends live in a house with over 12 people and they regularly can only have 7 or 8 devices use the wifi connection at once. This includes phones, computers, etc and can make using the internet hard at times when a random phone is connected but a computer is not. I read that normally most routers will allow more than enough devices to connect, but they could experience lag. However this is not the case. Only so many will actually be connected at once and it can be a bit laggy sometimes. Also, it's not like they are constantly streaming or downloading things, it is more just web browsing and basic stuff like that.
