I met this guy on a dating site. After exchanging messages a little while, he asked me if I text. I said yes, and I gave him my number. He texted me that night. The texts were kind of awkward since we didn't know what we have on common. I ended it sending "gd night :)". I think he had already gone to bed when I sent it. Next morning, I got a text from him saying "morning!". I thought it was a good sign although the texts the night before didn't go smooth. I didn't text him back because I don't have time in the morning or during the day. I haven't heard from him since then, and it's been almost a week. Is it a good idea to text him, see how he's been doing? Or he's not that interested? I think he likes texting since he was the one who suggested to text instead of messaging on the site. Please help!

He is probably waiting for you to text him because you never text him back in the morning. Tell him the reason why you couldn't text him. And to start a conversation tell him how you feel about everything. How you kinda felt awkward and stuff. Ask to start fresh. How was your day? Make little jokes. Ask him if he could tell you more things about him. Keep it neutral you know? :) good luck
Text him, give him a chance to find same interests. He's now waiting for you to reply. I was wrong when I men one cute guy at partyline.com he texted me couple of times, sometimes I replied sometimes not... It was my friends advice, I could never understand that. And now we are not texting cause I'm sure he's thinking I'm not interesting at all.
