A thirty year old man I met on-line has invited me over for dinner and a movie at his apartment this upcoming week. I'm a twenty year old woman who attends college and is hardly established in life. We've been texting a few times daily and I'm curious as to what his intentions could be. What would a 30 year old expect from a 20 year old? Isn't cooking a meal a bit intimate for a first date?

I'm with you. Especially since you met online and must know little about him. If you want to meet him, I'd suggest a more public place such as a coffeehouse and should you begin to trust him proceed slowly until perhaps dinner in a restaurant is appropriate. The age difference is not that extreme but let caution and good sense be your close companion, god knows how many predators there are online.
