Yeah, most jobs have 2 shifts. Days/Mornings or Evenings/Nights. Unless they have a third shift, which is usually referred to as graveyard shift (yuck).

days can mean morning shift or afternoon shift, each employer is different, the best way to land the interview is by making yourself available as much as possible. Don't put your desired schedule on the job application because you're telling them what you want. Don't discuss that until you get the interview, just put down "any shift" unless you cannot work graveyard etc.
