I still want everyone to be able to see it and click on it to view it, but I don't want to have people liking, commenting or sharing my photo. So I want to get rid of the buttons 'like', 'comment' and 'share'.
Which setting do I change to?
On Facebook, how can I set my profile picture to a way where nobody can like, comment or share it?

-Go to "Settings"
-Go to "Privacy"
-Look under the "Who can see my stuff?" section.
-Click "Limit past posts" ->
-> This will take everything in the timeline and force it to 'friends only." If someone is not friends with you, they can only see the current profile photo and cover photo. (That's the one thing I can't change.)
Only way to deal with that is changing the "who can send you friend requests?" under the "Who can contact me?" section from "Everyone" to "Friends of friends." Beyond that you'll just have to block the ones you don't want.
-Next go to the "Timeline and Tagging"
-Look under the "Who can add things to my timeline?"
-Click "Who can post on your timeline?" ->
->Change this setting to Friends. This makes it so people can't like or comment on anything they do see, i.e. the current profile and cover photos.
-Still under "Timeline and Tagging"
-Look under the "Who can see things on my timeline?"
-Click on "Who can see posts you've been tagged in on your timeline?" -> and "Who can see what others post on your timeline?"-> respectively.
-> Change both of these to "Friends"
I hope this helps you. I know this is a very roundabout way and it may not even solve the problem in it's entirety, but I tried to make this as succinct as I could. From my experience when looking through the "View as Public" tool, My profile Pic can't be clicked on and even though the cover photo can be clicked on, it doesn't show a comment or like button anywhere. Albums themselves show how many pictures I have but when you click on them, they say there are no photos inside.
Again, I hope this helps. It sure as bollocks is a lot harder than it should be.
