So...if there was an earth like planet with an atmosphere made of helium, what would happen to the balloon on that planet ? (I know its a stupid question but I'm curious)

Woah I've never thought bout this. #mindblown but I'm really interested in this now. What actually would happen?
My theory is that maybe, because the balloon would be the same weight as the atmosphere it would just sink to the ground? Or maybe it would be suspended in the air wherever it was moved and wouldn't move unless it was physically moved by force?? SOMEONE PLEASE CONFIRM I WANT TO KNOW
Air has weight. All the air above the top of a body pushes down, and the air below that point pushed up with an equal force. There is more air above the bottom of the body, so there is more force pushing up at the bottom that pushing down at the top. That difference is called buoyancy. If it is greater than the weight of the body, the body floats. If the body weighs more than the buoyancy, it sinks. So if the balloon is filled with the same gas that is in the atmosphere, you only have the weight of the balloon and it sinks.
BTW if you have a helium balloon in a car and the car goes around a corner, people are thrown to the outside of the turn, but the balloon is thrown to the inside. Try it.
