You have not explained what you are trying to say. A seal might be a physical device that closes a joint, or a glue or other substance used to close a gap, or the concept of such closure. A seal can be an animal, a navy recruit, or maybe several other things. The verb likewise requires some explanation. You can't just assume that everybody knows what you are talking about.
