Lol. I take pictures of the most random, pointless things, but it gives me a strange sense of relief because I feel like I'm "capturing" memories so I won't forget them. Whenever I look through them it makes me feel better, too. However, if I see something (or someone) that i want to take a picture of but I can't, I forgot my phone or something, i get sooo stressed out and feel like I'm missing something. I also have a thing about washing my hands when they get too warm... Anyone ever heard of a picture taking type of OCD?? do I even have anything wrong with me at all? And more importantly Should I get help?

It's ok....so u get annoyed when u leave
your mobile behind...many of us do.
U enjoy photography + like capturing
the moment. However u mayb taking it
2the xtreme. But u need 2 see a dr/psych
2 see if u have a nervous disorder,OCD,
or something else. Then again, u may have
nothing.
But contacr a Dr 2 make sure.
If there's nothing that mentally forces you to wash the hands then it isn't serious OCD. Though it is probably worth getting help if becomes stressful. Exposure therapy could help with this but I call it imposure therapy because it doubt it would work for me. It may be annoying to have to take a picture every so often but it's fairly common so don't worry.
Its not up to me to say whether it is an OCD or not. What you describe shows a deep inner tension that gets temporarily relieved by the photo thing. You even sense that relief, but its not treating the underlying problem. You need to get professional help to do that, so please do so.
