I am a sophomore and its my 2nd time tryout for cheer. The 1st time i didnt make it and this time coming around im not that sure if i should try out cause i dont wanna be hurt like i was last year. Especially because they just got a new coach and she said that you must have a round off back handspring to make varsity. Which i do not have. At that i dont have really any timbaling besides a cartwheel roundoff amd a backbend. If that even counts. And i camt do tumbaling because i dont have the time or moneh to do it. Which i hate soo much. Will it be worth trying out again or should i just quit and not cheer again. What should i do.

You really shouldnt do something you dont like or something you know is time wasting. If you really do like cheer though, i think you should try out. If u want to make it i suggest you work and practice because your not getting into any team by just being there. Even if you practice and still dont make it, dont get hurt or sad. There are plenty of other things you could do, or you could join cheer clubs that arent for school. Just measure the pros and cons.
