Normally which type of bowls you prefer for Dog food and why ?

My family used to use ceramic bowls, then we used stainless steel. Gone back to ceramic, though, because they're heavier and more sturdy and there's less chance of dogs knocking them over. We use stainless steel for water, though, because dogs are a bit more delicate with their water and the bowls just look cleaner.
