When I am startled or jump, I hear a weird rushing noise.
For example, the other night, I got up to go to the toilet, and when I opened the door, my partner had hung my shirt and trousers on the shower curtain rail. I saw it in, in the dark, in peripheral vision. I thought for a second, someone was in the bathroom with me, and I felt scared. As the sensation of fear took place, and I felt that hit of adrenaline, and the usual fear responses, I also heard an odd, deep rushing, booming kind of noise.
Just wanna know if others have experienced this, and what it possibly is?
