I have just started using the above medicine and have noticed a severe drop in my blood pressure as well as a rise in my heart rate. Before using it my (BP) was around 118/71 and a heart rate of 60 ish. Now the figures are around the low 90/53 ish and a heart rate of above 80,these figures are all taken at rest. Additionally I have a slight headache and shortness of breath. My question is will these conditions persist with regular use and/are these conditions dangerous to me?

Some blood pressure medications can cause your heart rate to jump around and your blood presure to jump around to. Are you having trouble with your blood presure as to why your on the medication?I would call your dr let them know whats going on because with the shortness of breath and the headaches its important that the dr knows. So he can ajust your medication any chest pain or pain in your arms numbness?
