I've had my nipple pierced for about 3 years and the last few weeks it's been irritated. It is red and flakey and there is a lot of fluid(Clear)

Call your piercer, and ask for advice on what to do, it sounds to me like you have an infection. If the fluid is clear that probably means the the site is trying to heal. However if it is clear, yet slightly yellow or tan then that means that it is an infection. Last if there is some swelling that is even more confirmation for an infection. I was thinking that it may be an allergy to the metal, but since you've had it for three years that most likely isn't the problem. If you are using a product around the area that could be the cause of irritation. Since it doesn't sound too bad I just suggest calling a piercer instead going to a doctor, however if you do get a fever or chills that would be the time to really worry.
