New puppy to a home where another puppy died of distemper a month ago can it use its stuff?

I had a Bichon a month ago and he died of distemper now I got a new bichon and I'm terrified she's going to get the disease. her nose is a bit runny and I'm freaking out I got her yesterday. Can she play with my old puppy's stuff?

The CDV virus is susceptible to most disinfectants, so routine cleaning of the living quarters of infected dogs will minimize the spread of the disease. You can get your new puppy vaccinated against the disease, maybe consider that and speak to your vet.
