I'm 70 inches and 240 pounds. I need to get to 191 pounds to join the air force. I have 2 years but I want to work on it now. Any tips on how to lose it fast by not killing myself running?? I play football and lift weights a lot but that is just making it harder to lose weight because muscle is more than fat so I'm goin to stop lifting as much and focus on losing weight. I'm currently not on a diet. I eat healthy like proteins and meats, but I eat sweets and drink a lot of soda so I'm cutting down on that but I drink at least 2 bottles of water a day. I eat 3 times a day. A pop tart (not very healthy but on the go in the morning don't have time to cook) school food, and meat and veggies for dinner. What is a good way to gain enough muscle to at least do some pull ups. I bench 185 and its not good at least want to get to 225. I squat 365 so I'm good in tht area dont focus on that anymore but arms and cardio is my main priority. After my basic training am I able to start lifting and everything else again because I want to be able to bench 315 and squat 500 that's some of my goals in life. Other is to run non-stop for a far distance.

That is an easy one for me to lose weight fast is easiest by not eating any carbs at ALL, only veggies and protein, also limit caffeine and no soda and limit sugar. Doing this the pounds will drop off really fast and you wont kill your self with running or anything like that, I have tried TONS of diets and this is the only thing that ever worked fast for me and I could stand to do till I hit my goal weight, I have done it to loose baby weight after having kids and it has NEVER failed me. I lost almost 100lbs off it the first time I did it after that I never let my self gain weight like that again but I still do it to loose the baby weight each time after I have a kid or when I have gained a little extra around thanksgiving, I also know several other people who have had the same luck with it, if you just eat veggies it works faster but some people cant stand that so eatting some chicken or meat wont hurt, but if you can stand to be a vegatarian for a couple months you will lose 1 to 3 pounds a week easily maybe more that seems to depend on the person . Keep hydrated with water since there is no sugar in it.
smoothies are good but do with out the sugar if possible.

you should be eating smaller portions 5 times a day rather than 3 times eating full it will boost your metabolism and you will start losing soon, as you've been already advised to avoid carbs and sugary treats, you wouldn't even touch sodas if you understand the outcomes of it, and the last thing to boost your weight loss I would recommend supplementing it with an herbal drink "beyond weight management tea" an organic blend of secretsoftea.com, it really works great for weight loss
