I am a single mom and I'm 50 years old with a student loan of $25,000. I went to school to be a social service worker but long story short ... it didnt work out. I am having trouble finding a secretarial/office job so I am thinking of going back to school for an Office Administrative degree which would take 1 year. I am so sick of retail jobs. That would make my student loan up to $35,000. It's so hard these days to have a good paying job ... most companies want diplomas. What do you think ... Is this a bad idea?
