... into the ground of a "stream bed" (not really a stream, just where water runs downhill after a rain) and when I pulled my hand back up, I was holding what I call an "earth stone" (a round, sphere shaped stone).
What is the significance of this event?
I find these "earth stones" constantly. I have a whole collection of them that could fill a couple of buckets
They are called moqui marbles and they are found all over the world, ranging from very small up to several feet across. They are also found on Mars and called blueberries there. The only thing we know is they are an accident. Everything in nature is done by accident.

Normally, I would agree. However...It's not normal to reach into the ground and pull up a round stone. Especially, when it was hidden beneath the ground. And the urge to do such a thing...is not something I have ever had before. Or since.
