I want to take some sort of action with the guards to prevent him from doing it again, it's not the first times he's hit me, but this is the most serious it's gotten! What actions can I take, he is my full brother, 13 and I'm his older sister, 17. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

As the youngest of four kids and two of the had to leave for anger and violence issues (17 as well btw) I kept telling my parents about when my older brothers and sister would slap me and hit me around even a few times fracturing a few bones. Sadly the parents don't always take action so if after several times of tell your parents/ guardians then try someone else a teacher or trusted friend. It's serious and can turn bad quickly no one should ever have to live worried about being beaten on. I never recommend using violence first but if he continues to put his hands on you the. You have EVERY right to defend yourself.
