My windshield wipers smear something awful. Fluid or wipers?

Try testing one product at a time to figure out what the problem is. First clean the wipers. Make sure there is no dirt on them or anything else that would leave a mark on your windshield. If this is still smearing change the fluid since you’ve already changed the wipers. Some people even use just water and this can help. Maybe even try adding water as a concentration of cleaner may be too high for some reason and makes visible marks on your windshield. Next if this is still smeared change the wipers again. Throughout this test make sure whatever wipers you use are clean and try cleaning your windshield before you go out to see if anything else affects the smearing on the windshield. When you clean your windshield to test which product can be staining your windshield also make sure you’re in an area with clear air, as in nothing falling from trees or sky, nothing blowing into the windshield, etc so you get an idea of what works for your car through trials without anything affecting what could possibly work with your car. If something smears the windshield again, you at least know the possibilities of what it could be by not changing everything for your windshield at once.
