My wife took a shot of burbon, and chocked making it come out of her nose, how does she stop burning

Mix 1/4 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp salt into 1 1/2 cups water in a small tea pot. Pour it into one nostril while tilting the head to let it run out the other.
