I've read some of the suggestions online but, I am still not sure!
The turtle is a baby and was just bought yesterday. I just place it in a medium bowl with sand, drinking water, and some food pellets. I don't have any UVlight or a lamp, butI just put him in the sun during the day.
Is this fungus? What should I do to cure that?
And no the spot doesn't disappear under the water.
Will just drying by the sunlight heal my turtle?

Don't panic :) Just pick up your turtle and head to the vet or good pet store with a veterinarian working there (or leave it at home and just describe what's wrong). He/she will tell you straight away if it's anything dangerous or is it normal and what should you do. If it doesn't need any medication they surely won't charge you for a consult :>

My fish used to have fungus - they needed some medication, but it didn't take long to cure them and wasn't too expesive neither :p
