during the summer, i attempted some ombre nail on my toes and i guess the polish ended up being way too thick on my toes? anyway, my right big toe was wobbling and i pushed on it (not with a lot of pressure) and a giant shell of polish and nail is coming off all uneven? and it doesn't hurt, so i'm scared it's a fungal infection? can someone please tell me what to do?

You really need to learn things before you make a mess, instead of after. One trip to google.com and you know that ombre is done by wiping polish off, not piling it on. If you have thick paint on toe nails and wear poorly made shoes, the toe is bruised and the nail falls off. The female preference for poorly made shoes is legendary. Now you know more than you did before.
Get epsom salts at the drug store. It's cheap. Get one of those plastic shoe boxes that drug stores sell, or any little dishpan that is larger than your foot. Mix a couple TBSP of epsom salts crystals in enough water to cover your feet, warm enough to feel nice, and soak to prevent infections. If the nail is completely loose, as it almost certainly will be either now or in a day or two, pull it out. It won't hurt much. It will grow back in six months or so.
Magnesium strengthens muscles, calms nerves, stops cramps, and fights infections. Get epsom salt. It is cheap, five bux for a year's supply. Put a dose in a glass with water to cover and stir until it dissolves. Fill the glass with lemonade and drink it. You can take it without the lemonade but you won't like the taste.
