My sister told me that her daughters father, who has temporary sole custody of their child, told her that she has to ask him permission to buy gifts for their daughter. So, before she told me about the custody situation I asked her if he had full custody of their daughter and she said that he only has temporary sole custody which for what I read says that basically he is the one who makes the decision on where their daughter can live, what doctor she can see, and what school to attend. So, does she have to ask him permission to buy gifts for their daughter? Or is he just being foolish over the situation?
