Just want to know what the chances are of being related to the Tudors.

Virtually none, the family name is originally welsh from the first name "Tewdwr", (Theodore) The Tudor family of which Henry vii was the first member, hated their family name and avoided using it meaning tha tany direct descendents of the Royal Tudors would not have passed on that particular family name. There are many families that have the surname Tudor or Tudur around the world (almost all UK families or descendents thereof) and it was a relatively common family name. It's possible that you may be distantly related to the Royal Tudors but having the same family name is no grounds for making that assumption and even if you were there are 10s of thousands of other people who can claim kinship most of which will be closer than yours unless you happen to live within the area of London and have a family history that includes regular high social status.
haha, yeah, probably, but you know.. a geaneology examination could throw up some interesting family history and as they've become more popular the costs have gone down quite a lot. A proper family tree could make for interesting reading and a nice gift for the older members of the family if you've a mind to bother :)
I'll be sure to look into that, I've always loved my family history but websites only help so much, as far as I know my great-granddad (Born around 1870) according to my dad was actually called Henry Tudor, who then called my granddad Thomas Henry Tudor.
The Tudor dynasty or House of Tudor was a royal house of Welsh origin,[1] descended in the male line from the Tudors of Penmynydd, which ruled the Kingdom of England and its realms, including their ancestral Wales and the Lordship of Ireland, later the Kingdom of Ireland, from 1485 until 1603. Its first monarch was Henry VII, a descendant through his mother of a legitimized branch of the English royal House of Lancaster. The Tudor family rose to power in the wake of the Wars of the Roses, which left the House of Lancaster, to which the Tudors were aligned, extinct.they r extinct so there r no chances fr u to be a Tudor.y do u show much interest to be a Tudor??
Thought so, I live in Yorkshire so chances are probably even lower.
