So I just got two rats and a cage that has two platforms with ramps leading up to them. Their water was on the second level, and food on the third. The problem was, they do not like to climb. One of them climbed to the third level to get some treats I left there, but the other rat refuses to even go on the first ramp.
I moved the food to the first level so they could climb up to the first level using the igloo instead of the ramp, but I'm still worried the rat who hasn't been on the other levels will get thirsty and hungry.
I tried picking the rats up and putting them on the levels but they did NOT like that and immediately jumped back down to the ground level.
I'm a worried mamma but this is only their second day with me.
