Hey guys,
Like I said, my PS3 internet keeps disconnecting, and it's really annoying to do random stuff everytime I turn my PS3 on to fix this. Please, can someone recommend me some effective ways to permanently fix this problem? (I use a crappy internet.)

If your ISP is crappy and your internet often cuts out when you are using other devices then you need to change your ISP. If that is not the case and it's only your PS then it could be something simpler like a bad socket on your PS. If the physical connection is worn or loose then that could be the reason it keeps cutting out. If the connection is fine and it is only your PS that has problems with the internet cutting out frequently then it has to be an internal problem with the PS in which case you need to get it repaired or replaced. Shit wears out afterall, it doesn't last forever and consoles are designed to wear out to force consumers to either upgrade or buy again....
Ahhhhh.... Well fiber is obviously much faster but adsl can be fast as well, nothing like fiber but you know... My adsl gives me 5 mbits up and about 1.5 mbit down and that may be where the problem lies because adsl is asymetric and fiber isn't. Have you checked your PS's settings, maybe you need to change something becasue you've changed the type of connection you have. It may be disconnecting because it has to buffer more than it did when you had fiber. That's where I'd look first.. just an idea.
thanks for the answer, and i don't think it's about my ps because i moved out from a house where i used a fiber internet to a house where i use adsl. i didn't have any problems in the past. it works fine without any lag issues once i somehow fix the problem, but it keeps disconnecting all the time, and it's really pissing me off :(
