My previous employer said that she was going to report me so that other employers would not give me a job. Is this possible?

Yes, this is more than possible. You could have marks written about you so that if an employer were to find more information about you they would see whatever was reported by your previous employer. However, if any falsehoods are present then you can file a lawsuit over it. So, as long as you didn't steal from your workplace or anything else of the sort, you will be completely fine. If you did, well, I can't entirely feel sorry for you.
But I don't mean a "bad" reference.
I mean is there some kind of database where future employers can see this?
Ahh, I see. Well, basically what will happen is, when you put in your resume to places to have it reviewed to see if you can get the job, you will be able to list said person as a reference whom that current employer you are talking to can call/message in order to get information about you and determine if you would make a good employee for the job available.
BTW I had not started working at this place but had already had an interview and training (one day).
Reason of this was me not attending 1st day of work for medical reasons.
It was a cash paying job so all the info they have about me is phone# and name.
