My phone said radio based location has stopped working. What does that mean?

Your cellphone works by radio. The strength of the signal at two or more cell towers allows the system to calculate your location by triangulation. It is not as accurate as the GPS system, but it is good enough to tell you about stores and stuff near you. So for some reason that system has stopped working.
