My phone says it's connected as a "media device" even though it's mot plugged in. My samsung charger broke about a year and a half ago, and I've been using other chargers since. However this began about 3 days ago. My battery drains 5000x faster and doesn't charge as fast because it insists it's plugged into a computer- even though it's in a charging block in my wall. Clicking it, restarting my phone or blowing into the charger hole doesn't sem to help. I won't be getting a new phone til the s8 comes out, but my phone is basically unusable since my battery lasts about 3hrs throughout the day, as opposed to the 7hrs it normally lasts with regular use. How the heck do I get rid of this?
