My phone has a bunch of dots and random shaded squares. Please help?

Details:

I tried cooling it, shutting my phone, turning my phone off for an hour but for some reason when I type it gets fixed a bit.

do you recognise the dots? If so I think it sounds like your screen has burned in (by having it on the same screen for a long time; for example on charge) And if it is burned in, there is nothing you can do about it :(

People keep telling me to use a certain burn in app. But if you say there is nothing I can do then I don't know.
